For the last two years I have suffered a great deal with sinus headaches and pressure, caused by a combination of allergies and tension in my neck. The condition can even cause dizziness. I am on a great deal of allergy medicine, but it does not always help. I had read that chiropractic treatment can help such headaches. I sought such treatment and it has helped the condition. The discomfort is considerably less. I also have a problem with pain and weakness in the lower back, from a fracture caused by osteoporosis. I am receiving medication for this condition to rebuild the bone, but the chiropractic treatments are helping to reduce the pain and making me feel much stronger so that I am able to work more normally.

Back pain was something that I lived with for many years. The only way I could make it through a whole day was to take anti inflammatories and muscle relaxants. The pain interfered with my work, my family time, and mostly my sleep. Sleep became something that I got about 2-3 hours a night and then spent the rest of the time walking around the house trying to make the muscle contractions stop. I would normally count the hours until I could take more medication for relief. My sleep became so disturbed that my primary doctor prescribed me sleeping pills. One night I stopped and looked at how many medications I was taking on a daily basis. I realized that my dependencies on the medicines all boiled down to the deeper problem of chronic pain. The next morning I called Dr. Rogers’ office and scheduled my consultation. After completing the 20 treatment process, I can honestly say that the only pills I take on a regular basis are my daily vitamins. Suddenly something else became very clear as well. There are not enough words to explain my gratitude to Dr. Conforti. As a life flight nurse, my career always left me tired and my body aching. I eventually gave up my position on the trauma helicopter and stayed at the hospital, because my neck pain was so intense that it prevented me from performing the tasks involved in transporting a trauma patient from the site to the hospital. It took everything in me to resign from my life flight position. Finally as I was working in the emergency room one day, the neck pain got so intense I drop the instrument tray I was carrying. I ended up having to take a few weeks off. I tried pain management, but I could not go to work drugged up. Cold packs and ibuprofen seemed to be the only way I could make it through the day. I researched option on the internet, and came upon Dr. Confortiís spinal decompression. I did some more research and found that patients that went through the treatment had a higher success rate then those that went through with surgery. I spoke to some of the doctors and surgeons at the hospital and decided to go in and see what the machine was all about. It only took a few minutes, and Dr. Conforti gained my respect as a doctor. Dr. Conforti, I have to be honest with you, I come here with much doubt and trepidation. After serving as a spinal surgeon for over 30 years, I never thought I would find myself in search of an alternative to surgery. I cannot tell you how many procedures I performed on the spine throughout my years of practice.
